The RF-1 is based on the digital video broadcast receiver which are mass produced and very common in Europe. When connected to an Android tablet with the digitalxradio.com software the airline traffic is overlaid on a moving map.
This includes the following FAA maps:

A long press on the map launches a popup that provides all the text based weather products for the selected location:
